Steam tube ovens

Our range of steam tube ovens is designed and manufactured entirely by our company. Its construction is similar to that of Italian ovens, but the design has been adapted to the needs of the Hungarian market. By further developing this proven technology, our aim was to offer customers a solution that lets them enjoy the benefits of steam tube ovens without compromise.

Alongside higher quality requirements, we paid particular attention to a long service life, economical baking performance and low maintenance requirements.

We generally supply our ovens as turnkey solutions. Customers only need to provide the installation site and utility connections. Our high-volume purchasing of components also enables us to supply spare parts at competitive prices and with short lead times.

25–35% lower gas consumption

A high-quality masonry steam tube oven has excellent heat storage capacity. Once the oven has heated up, the gas burner runs significantly less often, and a considerably lower-output burner is required.

80–95% lower electricity consumption

The equipment does not require the large air circulation motor used in cyclothermic ovens.

70–80% lower maintenance costs

Steam tube ovens contain fewer mechanical components. For example, there is no air circulation motor exposed to heavy wear from high temperatures, and no conventional metal combustion chamber.

Even baking throughout the designed service life

Baking uniformity remains unchanged throughout the designed service life. Wear does not cause uneven baking in the way it can in ovens with a metal body that deteriorates over time.

Developed to meet Hungarian bakery requirements

The only equipment on the market developed specifically for Hungarian requirements and operating practices.

Double or triple steam capacity for baking

Our equipment is the only oven on the Hungarian market available with up to three separate steam generators per baking chamber. We have also increased the size of each steam generator compared with conventional designs. This means there is no need to compromise or wait 45 minutes for full steam-generator recovery, as with other products. An adequate supply of steam helps achieve higher-quality baking results than competing solutions.

High-quality components for a long service life

All piping that carries steam from the generators into the chambers and from the chambers towards the flue is made of stainless steel. The steam exhaust damper is manufactured from 15 mm stainless steel, preventing unwanted steam loss and premature wear found in many lower-quality products. We use high-quality RATH firebricks and MANNESMANN steam tubes with 5.5 mm walls, the thickest available on the market, to provide the maximum service life and energy efficiency achievable with this technology. The entire front panel is made of 3 mm stainless steel.

Competitive factory prices and dependable service support

As the manufacturer, we offer our equipment at competitive prices as an alternative to the mainly lower-tier ovens manufactured for Eastern European markets and imported into Hungary. Although the ovens require minimal servicing, we can supply spare parts immediately and at competitive prices in 95% of cases.

TERMOMAX steam tube oven manufactured by Modul-Bake

TERMOMAX series

Reliable, durable equipment designed to withstand even continuous three-shift operation. Thanks to its special construction, sufficient steam can be available every 15–20 minutes, making it an excellent solution for more than just bread baking.

The oven’s masonry and concrete construction, excellent insulation and 35 × 5.5 mm MANNESMANN steam tubes allow it to store a large amount of heat and release it continuously for energy-efficient baking. Compared with a cyclothermic oven, continuous operation can deliver savings of up to 35% in gas consumption, 95% in electricity consumption and 80% in maintenance costs. Under optimum conditions, these savings can amount to the full purchase price within 5–6 years, with an expected service life of 15–20 years.

  • Stainless steel front, side and rear panels.
  • Reinforced steam system containing approximately 35–40% more steel per steam generator than comparable solutions.
  • Lower steam-generator housings measuring 100 × 200 × 8 mm; on triple-steam versions, upper housings made of 3 mm stainless steel.
  • 3 mm stainless steel front panel containing no carbon steel components.
  • 15 mm thick stainless steel steam exhaust damper.
  • Steam inlet and exhaust circulation channels made entirely of stainless steel.
  • Upward-opening stainless steel doors with glass viewing windows, as commonly used on German ovens.
  • Three baking chambers with 20 cm internal height and one with 21 cm internal height.
  • 20 mm heat-resistant concrete baking slabs reinforced with steel mesh.
  • Baking chamber lighting.
  • Baking timer with audible signal.
  • Adjustable steaming time, with each steam generator operated independently.

Options:

  • Triple-steam system with three steam generators per chamber
  • Acid-resistant stainless steel front panel
  • Acid-resistant stainless steel steam extraction fan and fan housing
  • Oven loader lifting system
  • Wood-fired heating unit
